Rob’s brief no. 1: Tomorrow’s crash time?
George Ure seem to think there seems to be a global-synchronized collapse of the world’s stock markets occurring today but tomorrow, when the US stock markets open, will there be all hell breaking loose?

Holy Cow! “All countries in the world are suffering from the slowdown in growth in the United States, all countries in the developed world,” IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn declared, “The situation is serious.”

Rob’s brief no. 2: Geo-strategic posturing, Russian-style?
The Russians have gotten bolder than ever before, by putting up a show of naval and air forces in the northern Atlantic Ocean region on the notion of a joint exercise. What’s more disturbing is the inclusion of the Bear and the Blackjack strategic bombers (read: they are well-known nuclear bombers) in this “exercise”.

Something’s up.

Rob’s brief no. 3: Life After People
Tonight on the History Channel at 9 pm (EST): Life After People. Check it out. Based on Alan Weisman’s book, The World Without Us. I have not read the book yet but will do when it comes out in trade paperback. I still have faith in humanity’s endurance and survival for as long as possible, God willing.
